1：PAPER CONE

This is the most common type of diaphragm in speakers. It has a long history and currently has a very mature technical level. The pulp is poured into the designed mold, and a series of subsequent processing is performed after drying to form our common speaker diaphragm. This is just a basic process description. As for the material distribution ratio and processing method, each brand has its own secret, which is of course a trade secret.
The sound characteristics of the paper cone are relatively smooth and natural, which is in line with the taste of most people, and there will be no very distinctive part of the sound. Because the internal fibers are intertwined, the energy in the transmission process can be absorbed quickly, so the damping characteristics of the paper cone are also ideal. The sound is simple and natural, the cost is cheap, it is easy to mix with other materials, and the rigidity and flexibility are compatible. In addition, due to the light weight of the paper cone, the energy conversion efficiency also has a good performance, these are the advantages of the paper cone.
However, the disadvantages of paper basins are also obvious. First of all, due to the characteristics of the material, paper basins are more sensitive to temperature and humidity. Changes in the use environment may affect the sound to some extent, and it is also possible to make changes in these environments multiple times Causes irreversible deformation of the paper cone. However, the current technology of paper cones is also constantly developing. By adding other materials, paper cones can perform better in terms of waterproof properties. 3. Wool Woven CONE
The texture is softer and the material is lighter. The voice coil vibration of the same energy will make it larger in amplitude, so it performs better on small and weak signals and perfect on soft music. The disadvantages are poor bass performance and unsatisfactory rock and march expressiveness.
4. PP CONE
This is also one of the very common unit materials. Today in the chemical industry is very developed, synthetic materials have appeared in all aspects of life. Good toughness and consistency, low distortion, good performance in all aspects, but slightly higher price. The plastic material in the unit diaphragm is generally made of polypropylene, referred to as PP basin for short. Compared with paper pots, PP pots are much better in terms of moisture and water resistance, but they will also be slightly affected.
Because it is a synthetic material, there should be many improvements to the PP basin. On the basis of the existing, it can be improved in order to overcome certain deficiencies. It is achieved by adding other materials. This is the ideal aspect of the PP basin. Therefore, the speakers of the PP basin are used. There is no shortage of excellent works.
The PP basin also has the advantage of excellent damping characteristics, which can be soft and natural in hearing. In addition, the PP basin generally does not need a high-end crossover, which can also control the production cost of the speaker as a whole. On the downside, PP basins are relatively rigid, and high-frequency rich music is not suitable for performance, and is prone to distortion.
