What's the difference between a bass speaker and a tweeter?

The tweeter is responsible for the sound restoration unit of the high frequency part of the sound. Because the frequency is relatively high, the diaphragm, i.e. the paper basin, will be relatively thin, so that it can adapt to the high frequency vibration. At the same time, it is also the most vulnerable part of the high-pitched speaker to burn down. The bass speaker is responsible for the sound restoration of the low-frequency part. The vibration amplitude of the low-frequency part is large and relatively slow. Therefore, there are thicker trumpet basins and restored voice coils, and the low-frequency part is less vulnerable to damage than the high-frequency part.

1. The bass horn is composed of electromagnet, coil and horn film. It converts the current frequency into sound. The physical principle is that when the current passes through the coil to produce electromagnetic field, the direction of the magnetic field is the right-hand rule. Assuming that the speaker plays C-mode, its frequency is 256 Hz, that is, 256 times per second vibration, the speaker output 256 Hz AC current, 256 times per second current change, emit C-mode frequency. When the coil vibrates with the speaker film, the air around it vibrates, and the speaker produces sound. [1]

But because the human ear can hear a limited number of voices (20 - 20KHZ), so the general speaker will set the program within this range. Electromagnetic loudspeakers are generally powered by power systems (including: magnet coils or coils). Vibration system (including: sound diaphragm, that is, horn diaphragm dust cap elastic wave), support system (including: basin frame, etc.) is composed. The working principle is the same as above. The process of energy conversion is from electric energy to magnetic energy, then from magnetic energy to mechanical energy, and then from mechanical energy to sound.

2. High-pitched loudspeakers are mainly spherical top. The spherical top tweeter can be divided into positive and anti-spherical top units from the spherical top structure.

When playing music, the horizontal diffuse angle of the positive-ball item unit is larger; while when playing music, the horizontal radiation angle of the Anti-ball item tenor unit is smaller, but the timbre is pure, and the endurance power is larger.

From the top material, it can be divided into hard top, soft top and composite film top.

There are several kinds of vibration film materials for hard top tweeters, such as aluminium alloy, titanium alloy, magnesium alloy, titanium alloy composite film, glass film, diamond film and so on. The high tone replayed by the hard top treble unit has bright timbre and a metallic feel. Suitable for playing pop music, film music and effect music. Making excellent Aluminum Alloy and Titanium Alloy Composite Membrane Top Tenor can also better express classical music and voice. There are several kinds of vibration film materials for soft top tweeter, such as silk film, silkworm thread film, rubber film and bullet-proof cloth film. Soft top treble unit is flexible and relaxed when replaying music, and has good natural expressive force. In the performance of classical music, voice and other music with a standard concept of listening, especially handy.
