What is short ring ?
On some full-range speakers, a copper ring is placed on the upper part of the T-yoke, This copper ring and aluminum ring are often called short rings, also called Faraday rings.
What is this effect?
Generally, some materials are usually removed in the upper part of the pole core with the short-circuit ring (see the first picture).
When it comes to sticking the short-circuit ring, it is used as an overflow tank.
Second, the magnetic field can be concentrated more around the short-circuit ring (to achieve magnetic saturation) to reduce the distortion caused by the non-uniformity of the magnetic circuit.
