Spider, commonly known as baffle, or positioning piece,is the main component of the speaker vibration system.It plays an important role in the loudspeaker: 1. Maintain the correct position of the voice coil in the gap of the magnetic circuit, 2. When the voice coil is doing the up and down cutting movement, keep the vibration system only vertical movement up and down, and maintain a good stable restoring force , 3. Prevent dust from falling into the magnetic gap, 4. It and the folding ring compliance of the cone together constitute the vibration compliance of the entire speaker.
