How much do you know about the classification of car speakers?

The speaker in the car audio system, commonly known as the speaker, plays a decisive role in the entire audio system and can affect the style of the entire audio system.
Before car audio modification, I believe everyone would want to learn about audio modification packages, such as two frequency, three frequency, and so on Sometimes people's understanding of the functions of these types of horns is still not thorough, so today we will popularize some classifications of car horns and the characteristics and performance of various horns.

Car horn classification: It can be divided into full frequency, tweeter, mid range, mid low range, and subwoofer.
1. Full frequency horn
Full frequency speaker, also known as broadband speaker. In the early days, it was referred to as full frequency speakers, which could cover the frequency range of 200-10000Hz. In recent years, full frequency speakers have been able to cover frequencies ranging from 50-250000Hz. Some speakers can lower their low frequencies to around 30Hz. Unfortunately, currently on the market, full frequency speakers, although full frequency, actually concentrate most of their frequencies in the mid frequency range, with slightly weaker performance in both bass and treble. Therefore, the sound heard is relatively flat, and the sense of three dimensionality is not as obvious.

2. Tweeter
A tweeter is the tweeter unit in a set of speakers. Its function is to replay the high-frequency signal output from the frequency divider (usually in the frequency range of 5KHz-10KHz).
Because the main function of tweeters is to express the delicacy of sound, the installation position of tweeters is also very particular. The treble should be installed at a level with the human ear as much as possible, such as on the A-pillar of the car, above the dashboard, and in some models, at the triangular position of the car door. This installation method allows the car owner to better experience the charm brought by music.

3. Mid range horn
The frequency response range of a mid range speaker is between 256-2048Hz.
Among them, 256-512Hz has a strong auditory sensation; 512-1024Hz has a bright listening experience; 1024-2048Hz provides a transparent listening experience.
The main characteristics of a mid range speaker are: realistic human voice reproduction, clean and powerful sound, and strong rhythm.

4. Mid low frequency speaker
The frequency response range of mid to low range speakers is 16-256Hz.
The listening experience at 16-64Hz is profound and shocking; 64-128Hz provides a mellow listening experience, while 128-256Hz provides a full listening experience.
The main performance characteristics of mid to low frequencies are: having a strong sense of shock, powerful and full, and deep.

5. Subwoofer
Subwoofer refers to a speaker that can produce low-frequency sound of 20-200Hz. Usually, when the energy is not very strong, it is difficult for people to hear the subwoofer and it is difficult to distinguish the direction of the sound source. In principle, the working mode of subwoofers and speakers is exactly the same, except that the diameter of the diaphragm is larger and a speaker for resonance is added, so people will feel very shocked when they hear the bass.
