Bluetooth speakers work with a complex combination of wires, magnets and cones. These parts work together to create the sound waves and frequencies that hit your ears.
Your basic wireless Bluetooth speaker consists of four parts:
1) Magnet
2) Voice coil
3) Cone/Surround
4) Diaphragm
Parts of a wireless speaker
Here's how wireless speakers work:
A flexible metal wire called a voice coil is attracted to a strong magnet built into the speaker. As the coil moves, the diaphragm moves along it. The strength of this vibration affects frequency, also known as pitch. These sound waves are then amplified by cone/surround and into your listening ears.
The sound of a speaker is ultimately affected by the size of the cone/surround. The bigger the cone, the bigger the speaker and the louder the volume. The smaller the cone, the smaller the speaker and the lower the volume.
