Speaker type

There are many types of speakers. According to the energy conversion, they can be divided into electric (moving coil), electrostatic (capacitive), electromagnetic (reed) and piezoelectric (crystal). principle. (1) Low frequency speaker

For different speakers, the requirements for the Q0 value are different. For closed cells and reversed cells, the Q0 value is usually between 0.3 and 0.6. Generally speaking, for low-frequency speakers, the larger the diameter of the magnet and voice coil, the better the low-frequency playback performance and transient characteristics, and the higher the sensitivity. The structure of the bass unit is mostly basin-shaped, and a few are flat-panel. There are many types of diaphragms used in bass units, including aluminum alloy diaphragms, aluminum-magnesium alloy diaphragms, ceramic diaphragms, carbon fiber diaphragms, bulletproof cloth diaphragms, glass fiber diaphragms, acrylic diaphragms, paper diaphragms, etc. The aluminum alloy diaphragm and glass fiber diaphragm have a smaller diameter and greater carrying capacity, while the woofer with an enhanced paper cone and glass fiber diaphragm has more accurate sound and better overall balance.

(2) Generally speaking, if the frequency response curve of the midrange speaker is flat, the effective frequency response range is greater than the vocal cord width that it bears in the system, and the impedance is consistent with the sensitivity, and the unit is low frequency. Sometimes the power capacity of the intermediate frequency is not enough, you can choose an intermediate frequency with higher sensitivity and higher impedance to reduce the actual input power of the intermediate frequency unit. There are two types of mid-tone units: cone-shaped and dome-shaped. Only suitable for medium power and high power equipment. The diaphragm of the midrange unit is mainly composed of soft materials (such as paper cone and silk membrane), and occasionally there will be a small amount of alloy dome diaphragm.

(3) Tweeter

As the name suggests, a tweeter is a speaker unit that plays high-frequency sound. There are several types of structures, such as logo solution type, cone-shaped basin type, spherical top type and aluminum ribbon type.
